Nam Trout Spey’s are incredibly light in hand. They have a somewhat faster action than many other domestic trout spey rods, therefor capable of casting meaty flies and sliding thick fish to hand. However, their sensitive tip sections are ideal for delicate presentations with dry lines and soft hackles.
Nam Trout Spey Rods are part of the Original series. Graphene resins contribute to the rods ultralight weight and add greatly to their durability.
Aesthetically, Nam Trout Spey’s are clean and crisp as one would expect from a Scandinavian brand. The blank is a matte slate gray color. The grip is premium Delgado quality cork, and has a slim profile that rests wonderfully in hand. The reel seat is black aluminum with an elegant yet understated maple wood insert.
