Description
Rio’s InTouch Skagit Max GameChanger Float / Hover / Intermediate / Sink 3 (F/H/I/S3) is a quadruple density sinking Skagit head designed for easy spey casting with sink tips when you want to swing your fly slower and deeper in the water column.
The rear portion of the F/H/I/S3 floats so that you can mend with ease and steer your presentation. The mid portions of the head sink slowly, helping to slow down the swing. The front portion is faster sinking and will help your sink tip and fly reach deeper into the water column to get closer to fish in faster currents.
The head is built with an ultra low stretch core for enhanced bite detection and feeling when you are about to get snagged on the bottom or structure.
You’ll need a shooting/running line to fish the Skagit Max GameChanger heads, as well as a sink tip and a few feet of monofilament leader. Please note that it is important that the sink tip you chose to fish with the F/H/I/S3 isn’t lighter (lower sink rate) than that of the Sink 3 front portion of the head. This head is best paired with “T” series sink tips.
