There is a wide variance in quality in ringneck pheasant tail feathers, and Nature’s Spirit is among the best we’ve found. Well known for use in trout nymphs, pheasant tail can also be soaked, stripped, and plamered for collars and bodies in streamers and steelhead flies. It comes in a variety of dyed colors, although because of the nature of the pheasant the colors are not as vibrant as other feathers might be.
